Q&A with Suzie Aksun, Senior Consultant, Holistic Insight

Suzie shares why she is attending UK REiiF 2025 and how the event supports the work we do at Holistic Insight, in addition to our work there as UK REiiF’s official research partner.

Why is it important for you to be at UK REiiF 2025?

There isn’t a UK event quite like UK REiiF in terms of scale and reach across the full breadth of the built environment. For this reason, being at UK REiiF will be an amazing way get to the heart of what matters most from lots of different types of people.

The breadth of different sectors and industries in attendance is also fantastic for the work we do at Holistic Insight, which reflects the broad array of clients we work with in property and construction – from architects to interdisciplinary consultants, contractors and more.

Holistic Insight is also UK REiiF’s official research partner, so I am pleased to be there on the ground, discussing more about our work while I’m there.

What themes or conversations at UK REiiF 2025 are most relevant to the work Holistic Insight are doing right now?

I’m particularly excited about the chance to meet and network with other professionals who share my passion for driving positive change within the industry and exploring new ideas that can help shape the way we support our clients going forward.

What are you hoping to bring back from Leeds?

I’m hoping to bring back a wealth of valuable insights, fresh inspiration, and meaningful new connections. I’m also taking advantage of the full programme of events at UK REiiF including the fringe, so I am hoping to achieve a new PB in the 5km networking charity run with former triathlete Alistair Brownlee!

What are your tips for networking?

Plan ahead as much as possible as there is so much going on. Engage as much as possible with your existing network and be open to meeting new people. Actively participate in workshops as much as possible as this can lead to a deeper understanding and valuable exchanges of ideas.

Also, follow up after the event with the contacts you’ve made. Send a quick email or connect on LinkedIn to keep the conversation going and explore potential collaborations. And have fun along the way – it’s a great opportunity to learn, grow and be inspired!
