The senior team wanted to explore offering more services to more sectors in the UK and Europe so came to us to establish perceptions, identify market opportunity and use insights to devise a comprehensive marketing and PR strategy.


Bespoke marketing communications

Grimshaw, as part of its growth strategy, required market intelligence and support creating bespoke marketing communications and BD strategies for specific sectors and regions. To date, we have created strategies for the education and sport sectors, and are working on another for the French market.


Uncovering value

For each market, we set clear goals and devise a bespoke set of questions designed to uncover areas of value, ways to improve, opportunities for new business, competition and market opportunity. We then undertake a series of interviews by telephone or virtual meeting platform with key clients, project team members and influencers of work. We use these exercises as an opportunity to educate interviewees about Grimshaw’s sector expertise, experience and service offer.


Future growth

The resulting report includes extensive analysis, which informs the associated marketing strategy. It set out objectives, proposition, positioning, key messages and a bespoke marketing communications approach to the target sector or market, designed to demonstrate expertise and make Grimshaw attractive to clients and prospects. We also craft testimonials from the calls to reinforce key messages and sourced client approval.
